What St Agnes Croquet Club can offer

We hold roll-up club sessions four times a week, regularly attracting 10-25 players. These are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2.00pm. The Saturday afternoon “Scrabble” session is a particular favourite of members being a lively social affair.

Casual Croquet sessions that include a pay and play option for non-members are run on Wednesday evenings from 6.00pm during the summer.

The remainder of the week is available for members to play using a recently introduced booking system. Croquet is played all year subject to weather and lawn conditions.

The Club also runs free coaching sessions for both beginners and experienced players, and holds many internal competitions and tournaments. The Club teams take part in regular matches against other clubs in the South West and has an active social programme.

St Agnes prides itself on being inclusive and we welcome any members who might feel inhibited by physical constraints to join in. Inexperience or impaired ability is not a problem – there is a place for everyone.

We provide all the equipment you need – mallet – ball – hoops – all you need is flat shoes (to protect our lawns) and YOUR ENTHUSIASM.
